Gavin Robbins
fmea.co.uk Ltd. was originally in 2007 established as Gavin Robbins Consulting Limited by Gavin Robbins Ba(Hons). The company name changed in 2014 to reflect the expansion of the company, plus the acquisition of the domain name.
Prior to 2000-2007 Gavin managed a UK branch of APIS Informationstechnologien GmbH. This role led him to perform FMEA Methodology & APIS IQ-Software training at companies around the world (Americas to Asia). Although these companies were predominantly automotive, he also worked with companies within aerospace, white goods, medical devices…
Gavin has worked closely with companies such as Aston Martin, Lear Corporation and recently Dyson (EV – Electric Vehicle) to implement failure mode avoidance, and roll out dedicated FMEA software.
He is also a bit of a philanthropist, so over the years fmea.co.uk has supported many charitable causes (e.g. Cancer Research UK & Bowel Cancer UK) and provided sponsorship to Stafford Rugby Union Football Club between 2014-2019 (Juniors & Colts).
