Alignment of AIAG and VDA will not significanty affect the current services provided by

10.11.2016: For many companies the decision about whether to adopt AIAG or VDA methodology has been a contentious and confusing one. The deciding factor usually came down to whether the company was either North American or European owned (or a supplier to). Although the fundamental philosophy has always been the same, the documentation and risk descriptions have been different. Discussions between a number of major companies have been undertaken to align AIAG and VDA. We expect a decision to be finalised about a common set of FMEA requirements / expectations during 2017 as AIAG has announced the release of a new Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) manual. We hope that this will resolve the age old argument of which method is best to employ, and what the customer will expect! Contact us if you wish to receive update training.
