FMEA Training

We provide trainings that are tailored to your company and products you make!

The FMEA activity helps identify potential weaknesses, quantify and then conceive suitable preventive / detection measures to mitigate the risks of a system. Below are the trainings that fmea.co.uk provide:

  • FMEA Methodology Training: This can be an interactive course for the intended FMEA team members and facilitators. It can be tailored towards your product, process or system and is aimed at engineers from design, manufacturing, quality, project leaders and managers alike.

    Previous knowledge is not required and normally last 1 to 2 days depending upon the requirements of the customer.

    The basic agenda is: Introduction to FMEA and then the conception of a case study in line with the VDA 5-step approach to FMEA

  • FMEA Software Training: This is an interactive course for the intended FMEA team members and facilitators that are required to use the APIS IQ-Software. It can be tailored towards your product, process or system and is aimed at engineers from design, manufacturing, quality, project leaders and managers alike.

    Previous knowledge is not required, as this can be integrated into the first day. The course normally last 2 to 3 days depending upon the requirements of the customer.

    The basic agenda is: Overview of the VDA Methodology for FMEA and then input of a case study in to the software using the editors designed to accommodate each of the 5-steps, plus statistical analysis and reporting.

  • FMEA moderator / Facilitator Training: This is a single day seminar to provide insight for future FMEA facilitators / Moderators in how to best undertake a FMEA.

    FMEA is all about teamwork and a well-managed team can reduce the time required by up to 50%. Knowledge of FMEA is a prerequisite.

    The basic agenda is: Overview of the VDA Methodology for FMEA, how to prepare, efficient teams, body language, effective scrutiny, and obtaining the information from the software for reporting to management.

All trainings are undertaken at your facility and is for a maximum of 12 participants. The duration is normally between 09:00 and 17:00.
